Bath County, Kentucky is located in the eastern part of the state and covers an area of approximately 305 square miles. It is bordered by Montgomery County to the north, Menifee County to the east, Rowan County to the south and Fleming County to the west. The county seat is Owingsville, which is located in the center of Bath County. The terrain of Bath County consists mainly of rolling hills and valleys with some flat areas along its western border. The landscape is dotted with numerous creeks and rivers such as Salt Lick Creek, Stoner Creek and Little Sandy River.
