The uncomfortable winter farewell and the pleasant outdoor season is in the starting holes.
If you have interrupted your running program during the frosty months, you should start slowly but surely again with the jogging, in order to be on time in spring.
For those of you who are currently looking for new equipment, I have summarized the different types of running shoes .So you quickly find the ideal model that perfectly fits your demands and habits.
I wish you lots of fun and of course energy at this year’s training start!
Running shoes: The different types
Over the last decade, the footwear market has grown enormously due to a virtually explosive demand. Today there is the perfect shoe type for every runner, every floor and every training condition. The product range is divided into a total of six different types, which are designed for a wide range of different requirements.
Before you decide on a type, however, you should first have a treadmode carried out in order to be informed about possible foot misplaints and your typical rolling behavior. Because this knowledge is essential when choosing your companion.
Running shoes: The neutral type
“Neutral” running shoes are suitable for almost all surfaces.
With these wonderful all-rounder you can turn your rounds both on the street and in the park.
Neutral shoes are also suitable for leisurely training and also for competitions, as they work on long and short distances.
The sports shoes are light and have medium to very strong damping. They are the perfect go-to models for joggers that do not suffer from foot misalignment and therefore do not require additional support elements when walking . I myself have been running with this type for years.
Running shoes: The stable type
As the name suggests, these shoes are characterized by additional support elements, so-called pronation supports. The effect: Joggers, which tend to buckle inward when being rolled, are stabilized and a risk of injury during jogging is minimized.
These shoes usually consist of robust, solid material and the damping is more pronounced than with neutral models .These fitness shoes are also suitable for all surfaces and are suitable for both training and competition.
Running Shoes: The minimum type
Running shoes of this type stand out particularly because of their enormous ease and flat construction. These models combine dynamic stability with very light damping. With them, you can easily travel on all surfaces.
However, minimal shoes are only suitable for runners with insufficient foot positions, since they do not have additional supports which prevent buckling inwards or outwards when unrolling.
Running Shoes: The Natural Type
The natural type is an extension of the minimal models. These very special running shoes have experienced an enormous popularity push since the beginning of the new millennium. The idea behind these special jogging shoes is that the wearer is supposed to feel barefoot on the road during training. This is achieved by flexible, light and breathable materials, minimal damping, as well as a very flat design.
The result of this sophisticated design is a natural running feeling.
Important: Because the Natural type loads your joints and tendons unfamiliarly, you should slowly get used to your feet.
So start with fast walking , before you carefully cater to your usual running routine.
As soon as your muscles have grown accustomed to the natural type, you can use these shoes to run on hard, but also easily on soft and uneven surfaces.
Running shoes: The competition type
These running shoes are primarily designed for the competition situation. This means that the minimalist companions should make their carriers as fast and easy as possible, which is why, as a rule, additional support elements and a damping are also missing . In addition, they are made of lightweight materials that are as thin and flexible as possible.
The models are suitable for all surfaces, but should only be used for regular, easy training. Similar to the Natural shoe, this type of muscle: Slowly slow down your muscular muscles for a long time to the minimum damping and the flexible sole, because your tendons and joints need to absorb more forces than other models.
Running Shoes: The Trail Type
So-called trail shoes are specially made for uneven terrain. You can run with these sturdy specimens so wonderfully over bumpy forest floors or downhill sand beaches.
Thanks to their extremely grippy, structured outer soles, waterproof diaphragms and solid upper materials, they hold up a lot and guarantee you maximum stability even when wet. Thanks to their extra-resistant construction, you can even ride the most impassable stretches without problems!
